- I was hoping to share some April Fool's jokes with
you this time, but seems that you did not pull anyone's leg at mume. Of
course there were funny and not so funny 'emotes' that got some people
furious, when they understood they have been tricked out of their cash
or eq piece. But I guess the most successful joke was still the mume
log-in window. You wouldn't believe how many people were worried about
the game closing, and losing their homes, their eq, their possibility to
play. In some time they understood though, that this is really just a
joke.. and I must admit I almost fell to that one too, logging on early
in the morning, not thinking clear yet. I am glad this was only a joke
too.. think of it when the management of mume would have wanted to pull
you a nasty trick and really closed off mume? .. Better not to think
about it
- Cele has finally reached his desired spot at level
60. being busy with studies and work, he still enjoys playing mume and
having fun, even if those times aren't as frequent as they used to be
- Norsu has gotten another level, maybe he wants to
get to 100 and have the April-joke come true? :)
- And Vainamoinen has gotten a level after a long
time of playing and this time one level up, not a re-level.
- A few chars of whitie race have suddenly become level 1. There was
an incident 2 days ago, where Thror got killed by his fellow whities,
whose group all went to Sauron's list. Heffa,
Olfang, Feriand and
Zubr went all berserk after that, and started
spamhunting other whities around Arda. They ofcourse succeeded in making
a good chaos, but brave Free People of Arda took care of them, killing
all but Zubr and Olfang, who managed to rent finally. Many lives were
lost and lots of equipment changed hands... but I don't think it created
much else than confusion and bitterness among those who suffered. I
guess it is a difficult decision becoming onto Sauron's list, afterall -
if you die you will lose that char for good. Unless- you want to create
fame for your char, and panic for others. But that incident sure taught
a good lesson for many.
